This tour takes in the artistic and architectural heritage of England’s south coast and includes visits to the Towner Art Gallery and De La Warr Pavillion. We showcase a guided visit to Charleston Farmhouse, sanctuary at the beginning of the XXth century to a group of English writers, intellectuals and artists best known as The Bloomsbury Set. The unspeakable Virginia Woolf was the central figure of this group, whose works deeply influenced literature and aesthetics as well as modern attitudes towards feminism, pacifism and sexuality.
